This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
• Take ownership of the entire new-business sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Aim to engage and convert Commercial accounts with revenues under $1.5B in sectors such as Finance (banking, fintech, insurance), Technology, and Manufacturing.
• Build and sustain a robust pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, collaboration with partners, participation in events, and networking efforts.
• Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations that highlight the value of OPSWAT, illustrating how safeguarding files and devices mitigates risks, enhances operational resilience, and boosts compliance.
• Formulate territory strategies aimed at penetrating new organizations, increasing engagement, and accelerating revenue growth.
• Create account strategies to expand business within existing accounts by fostering consensus among stakeholders at various levels and across different business units.
• Work in tandem with Marketing on vertical campaigns, demand generation initiatives, and specialized industry events.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to align the best solutions, ensure seamless post-sales transitions, and maximize long-term customer value.
• Maintain precise forecasting and pipeline management within the CRM system.
• Represent OPSWAT at industry events, conferences, and regional gatherings.
• Keep abreast of cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes that affect target industries.
• Must reside in the Northeastern United States.
• 3–7+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in cybersecurity or related technology fields.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new logos and consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
• Experience selling to one or more of the following sectors: Banking / Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Technology.
• Strong capability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with multiple stakeholders (IT, Security, Compliance, Operations).
• Exceptional at articulating business value beyond just product features.
• Strong prospecting discipline: adept at creating a pipeline rather than passively waiting for opportunities.
• Proficient in building relationships at the executive level and converting business challenges into cybersecurity use cases.
• Data-driven approach to managing pipelines, planning territories, and forecasting sales.
• High energy, self-motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proficiency in CRM systems.
