This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop your own pipeline - You will engage in high-volume, high-quality outbound efforts directed at target accounts. This encompasses cold emailing, phone outreach, LinkedIn engagement, personalized video creation, account research, trigger-based outreach, and innovative campaign strategies. You should be enthusiastic about discovering your own opportunities rather than waiting for ideal inbound leads.
• Manage the entire sales cycle - You will oversee opportunities from the initial contact through to closing. This includes prospecting, qualification, discovery, product demonstrations, business case development, negotiation, legal/procurement coordination as necessary, and transitioning to Customer Success.
• Focus on selling business outcomes rather than just AI features - You will assist customers in understanding how HeyGen can lower video production expenses, accelerate content creation, enhance localization, personalize customer communication, and enable new video workflows that were previously unattainable.
• Sell across web app and API applications - Some clients will prefer to utilize HeyGen directly through the web app, while others may wish to integrate HeyGen into their own products, platforms, workflows, or internal systems via APIs. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should possess a technical curiosity and the ability to explain technical concepts in straightforward business terms.
• Act swiftly and generate urgency - You will navigate rapid commercial sales cycles, keep deals progressing, and know how to build momentum with busy decision-makers. You should feel comfortable asking direct questions, identifying pain points, linking pain to business impact, and driving next steps.
• Collaborate with PLG, growth, product, and customer teams - You will leverage product-led growth signals, self-service users, product usage data, customer feedback, and inbound interest to pinpoint opportunities for expansion and conversion.
• Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline - You will ensure CRM data is accurate, forecast reliably, manage subsequent steps, and discern the difference between a solid pipeline and a hopeful one.
• A minimum of 5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 3 years in a closing position.
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a commercial or high-velocity sales environment.
• Experience in generating a significant portion of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting.
• Strong discovery abilities and the capacity to align product features with business challenges.
• Comfort in selling to marketing, sales, customer success, L&D, product, operations, founders, or technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. You do not wait for flawless playbooks; instead, you experiment, learn, and refine.
• Excellent written communication skills. Your outbound messages, follow-ups, and deal summaries should be articulate, concise, and compelling.
