This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Drive Strategic Growth: Surpass software and services sales objectives by formulating and implementing strategic account plans for clients.
• Cultivate Executive Relationships: Establish and maintain robust relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers, positioning Smartsheet as a vital partner.
• Navigate Complex Deals: Guide intricate, solution-driven sales cycles, aligning Smartsheet's offerings with clients' strategic goals and achieving substantial deal closures.
• Proactive Opportunity Identification: Recognize and leverage expansion opportunities within current accounts, anticipating client needs and proactively delivering customized solutions.
• Strategic Pipeline Management: Create and uphold a strong sales pipeline, accurately predicting revenue and using data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
• MEDDICC: Skillfully implement MEDDICC qualification methodologies to ensure successful deals and stimulate consistent revenue growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external partners, including solution engineering and customer success teams, to provide outstanding client experiences.
• Sales Leadership: Exemplify the characteristics of a top-tier sales professional, acting as a mentor and role model for the team.
• Other job duties as assigned.
• Proven Sales Expertise: 1-3 years of progressive sales experience, showcasing a strong record of success in the software or technology industry.
• Strategic Account Management: Proven capability to manage and enhance relationships within accounts in a B2B setting.
• Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Competence in analyzing complex client requirements, formulating strategic solutions, and navigating challenging sales processes.
• Professional Presence and Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence C-level executives. B2 English Proficiency Level or higher.
• Technical Acumen: Enthusiasm for technology and the ability to quickly understand intricate technical concepts.
• Sales Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce), sales engagement tools (Outreach), data visualization platforms (Tableau), and others as necessary.
• Resilience and Adaptability: Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment, adjust to change, and overcome obstacles.
• Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred, or equivalent sales experience.
• Smartsheet Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the Smartsheet platform and its advanced functionalities.
• Complex Solution Sales: Established ability to manage complex solution sales that involve both software and services.
