College Admissions Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish impactful 1-on-1 relationships with students over extended periods.

• Assist students in developing strategies for college and graduate applications.

• Support students in enhancing their extracurricular, academic, and personal profiles.

• Review essays and offer constructive feedback that fosters an authentic voice and independent writing abilities.

• Generate innovative academic, leadership, research, and professional experiences that align with students’ aspirations.

• Conduct remote meetings with students and their families.

• Work collaboratively with fellow mentors and senior team members to promote student achievement.

• Handle a flexible caseload in accordance with availability and interests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding writing and communication abilities.

• Proven experience in mentoring, coaching, or advising students.

• Background in education, admissions, academic advising, tutoring, consulting, or related sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.

• Teaching, admissions, graduate school, or research experience is highly regarded but not mandatory.

• Must be organized, empathetic, and capable of building trust with students and families.
