Collections Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and examining accounts to detect loans that are in arrears or default.

• Comprehensive knowledge of repayment schedules and debt management, adhering to Tabeo’s policies and procedures to ensure efficient and timely handling of collections-related cases.

• Processing one-off payments and refunds as necessary, addressing issues when they arise.

• Keeping precise records utilizing internal systems.

• Reporting on collection activities as required.

• Referring intricate cases to senior management.

• Contributing to our culture of continuous improvement by providing customer and product feedback to the broader business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a collections position within the financial services sector, with 3-4 years of relevant experience.

• Solid understanding of collection strategies and familiarity with pertinent regulatory frameworks, including CONC, TCF, and GDPR.

• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a sincere dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for customers.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capability to manage your own tasks while collaborating as part of a cohesive, successful team.

• Keen attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records.

• Confident telephone demeanor with the capability to handle challenging conversations calmly and professionally.
