This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Overseeing and analyzing account status reports to detect and address delinquent accounts.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and collections within a high-volume, fast-paced multi-channel contact center utilizing automated call distribution and workload management software, while meticulously processing and documenting customer interactions via the designated tracking system.
• Evaluating aging and various reports to pinpoint delinquent accounts, initiating the collection process on overdue accounts by reaching out to customers through mail and/or phone to secure payment.
• Identifying potential customer account issues by reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly generated reports and inquiries.
• Investigating and resolving potential billing discrepancies, disputes, cash application issues, and other concerns through regular audits of customer accounts to ensure billing precision and uphold a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with others, including field personnel, to formulate, implement, and monitor collection strategies.
• Assisting in the training of community associates regarding collection procedures and functionalities available in various proprietary systems.
• Continuously assessing and identifying opportunities for process enhancements that positively influence the customer's experience.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• At least one year of collections experience is essential.
• Preferably, additional experience in accounts receivable, billing, and/or customer service in a call center or similar environment.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.) is necessary.
