This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and issue client invoices following the Welcome Call, ensuring prompt delivery through MyCase.
• Establish and oversee installment plans, including configurations for autopay and sharing of invoices.
• Monitor all incoming payments and reconcile them with the anticipated installment schedules.
• Keep track of overdue accounts and maintain accurate records of balances and payment histories.
• Engage with clients via phone, email, and internal communication platforms to follow up on missed payments or commitments.
• Record all collection activities, such as payment commitments and follow-up efforts, in the firm's CRM system.
• Dispatch appropriate correspondence (e.g., warning or termination notices) using templates and workflows approved by the firm.
• Create and execute effective collection strategies aimed at enhancing payment recovery and minimizing account delinquency.
• Detect trends or recurring issues within the payment processes and propose system enhancements to management.
• Aid in retaining clients who may be contemplating cancellation, withdrawal, or discontinuation of services.
• Manage challenging or escalated client discussions with professionalism, empathy, and confidence.
• Assist clients in recognizing the value of ongoing legal representation and steer discussions towards solutions and retention whenever feasible.
• Prior experience in collections, billing, accounts receivable, or payment recovery is essential.
• Strong experience in collections strategies with the capability to enhance or establish internal collection systems and processes.
• Demonstrated skills in client retention and de-escalation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to handle sensitive discussions with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented individual.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with a high volume of client communication.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• A passion for client service and an interest in immigration law and social justice.
• A self-motivated individual who collaborates effectively with others and takes the initiative to resolve issues.
