This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Manage a significant volume of outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and assurance.
• Negotiate payment plans that align with both consumer expectations and company objectives.
• Regularly achieve and surpass performance indicators (quality, compliance, collections).
• Ensure precise documentation and adhere to all applicable laws and standards.
• Quickly establish trust through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.
• Capable of clear communication, both spoken and written, utilizing proper grammar, telephone etiquette, and provided electronic tools.
• Proficient in navigating various computer applications and databases.
• Able to multitask effectively, communicating over the phone while managing multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Skilled in overcoming objections and barriers to successfully negotiate payments.
• Dependable and accountable.
• Punctual and utilizes time efficiently.
• Exhibits sound professional judgment.
• Understands sensitive personal information (SPI) and sensitive consumer information (such as Protected Health Information (PHI)), ensuring its confidentiality.
• Proficient in using provided tools for basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Self-driven and dedicated to career advancement.
• Willing to pursue and obtain Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within one year of hire date (company-sponsored).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (such as GED) is mandatory.
• Capable of successfully completing the company’s collector training program.
• Must pass initial, ongoing, and annual identity, criminal, and background checks.
