This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs in treating patients with low- and medium-acuity psychiatric conditions using evidence-based methodologies.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews and deliver prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and sanction prescriptions, including controlled substances, when legally permissible and clinically appropriate.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by applicable state regulations.
• Mentor clinicians and uphold Legion’s clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing practices.
• Assist in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• Offer timely clinical guidance and make independent prescribing decisions when legally allowed and clinically suitable.
• MD or DO psychiatrist.
• Currently active and unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Proficient clinical assessment, diagnostic acumen, and medication management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable delivering care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Dedicated to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Capable of reviewing and authorizing prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Willingness to accept Legion’s monthly supervisory compensation rates.
• Availability to work part-time.
