This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work in collaboration with seasoned PMHNPs to provide care for low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Perform chart reviews and offer prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Evaluate and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances, when legally allowed and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as mandated by relevant state regulations.
• Guide clinicians and uphold Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Assist in broadening the availability of high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Dedication to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Competence in reviewing and authorizing prescriptions, including controlled substances, in line with applicable laws and clinical guidelines.
• Establish your own schedule for an ideal work-life balance.
• Work remotely through secure telehealth and clinical systems.
• Receive substantial administrative support, including scheduling, insurance verification, billing, prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination.
