Collaborating Psychiatrist, Supervising Physician – MD or DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with experienced PMHNPs to treat patients with low- and medium-acuity psychiatric conditions using evidence-based methods.

• Conduct chart assessments and provide prompt recommendations on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.

• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, when legally allowed and clinically suitable.

• Be available during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.

• Mentor clinicians while reinforcing Legion's clinical standards, documentation expectations, and responsible prescribing protocols.

• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO psychiatrist.

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.

• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Comfortable providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.

• Capability to review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, in accordance with applicable laws and clinical guidelines.
