Collaborating Psychiatrist – Supervising Physician, MD or DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to provide care for low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Perform chart evaluations and offer prompt advice on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication administration, and clinical escalations.

• Review and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally allowed and clinically suitable.

• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.

• Guide clinicians and uphold Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing practices.

• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric services throughout the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Collaborating Psychiatrist (MD or DO).

• Hold an active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Possess strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required.

• Comfortable providing remote care and utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry is necessary.

• Capability to review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.

• Willingness to accept Legion’s monthly supervisory compensation rates.
