This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Work alongside seasoned PMHNPs to treat patients with low to medium-acuity psychiatric conditions using evidence-based methods.
• Perform chart reviews and offer prompt recommendations on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances, where legally authorized and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
• Guide clinicians and uphold Legion’s clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible prescribing practices.
• Assist Legion in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric services throughout the United States.
• Deliver timely clinical guidance and make independent prescribing decisions within legal and clinical bounds.
• Possess an MD or DO degree in psychiatry.
• Hold an active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Current DEA individual practitioner registration is mandatory at the time of application.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Demonstrate strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable providing remote care and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Ability to review and approve prescriptions, including controlled substances, in compliance with relevant laws and clinical guidelines.
• Establish your own schedule to achieve a favorable work-life balance.
• Work remotely through secure telehealth and clinical systems.
