This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
β’ Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs in the treatment of low- and medium-acuity psychiatric patients utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
β’ Perform chart reviews and offer prompt guidance on diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
β’ Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, when legally permissible and clinically appropriate.
β’ Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
β’ Mentor clinicians while reinforcing Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible-prescribing practices.
β’ Assist in broadening access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
β’ Provide responsive clinical mentorship, guidance, and independent prescribing decisions when legally permissible and clinically suitable.
β’ MD or DO degree in psychiatry.
β’ Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
β’ Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
β’ Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and medication management.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Comfortable delivering care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
β’ Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based medical practices.
β’ Capacity to review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
β’ Must be willing to accept Legionβs monthly supervisory compensation rates.
