Collaborating Psychiatrist – Georgia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act solely as a Collaborating Physician for Lavender.

• Provide support to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners in the states where they operate.

• Sign necessary state-specific collaboration documents for the onboarding of Nurse Practitioners.

• Conduct one quarterly chart review for each Nurse Practitioner.

• Facilitate at least one virtual continuing education session each year.

• Ensure compliance with both state and federal regulatory requirements.

• Offer timely feedback while upholding documentation standards.

• Acquire and maintain additional state medical licenses as required to support Lavender's expanding practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry.

• Active, unrestricted medical license in Georgia.

• Must reside in Georgia.

• Willing and able to obtain additional state medical licenses as necessary.

• Previous experience collaborating with Nurse Practitioners is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and collaborative practice requirements.

• Proficient with technology and comfortable using digital tools for documentation and communication.

• Demonstrates professionalism, responsiveness, and a commitment to high standards of care.

• Position is a 1099 contract role.
