Collaborating Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide remote clinical supervision to our employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.

• Conduct a minimum of one supervision session per month (20-30 minutes) for each NP using the Zoom link provided by Thriveworks.

• Be available via text or email to address inquiries Monday to Friday during business hours, ensuring responses within the same business day.

• Review charts and progress notes as mandated by state regulations and governing bodies.

• Additional supervision for NPs may be requested based on clinical requirements or the complexity of their practice.

• Complete a brief one-page Google Document following each monthly supervision for every collaborating NP.

• Stay informed about company policies and program guidelines.

• Fulfill annual training requirements as stipulated by the HR department.

⛳️ Requirements

• BC/BE in Psychiatry.

• Active and unrestricted licenses in California.

• At least 2 years of experience in supervising residents or mid-level practitioners.

• Must be willing to supervise a minimum of 4 nurse practitioners.

• No malpractice payouts, licensure disciplinary actions, or criminal/professional investigations in the past 5 years.

• A compact license is required, or the willingness to obtain one, or be licensed in multiple states.
