Coding Specialist, Fluent in Spanish – Latin America, Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Engage with language models regarding software engineering tasks and technical scenarios in Spanish (Latin America)

• Validate logical accuracy and proficiency in coding

• Evaluate the naturalness and correctness of Spanish language usage

• Capture reproducible error traces

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

• Test advanced language models on asynchronous programming, RESTful API integration, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding practices, and debugging distributed systems

• Record failure modes to assist in strengthening model reasoning

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish (Latin America)

• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, software architecture, as well as frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, and systems programming

• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, RESTful API integration, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding practices, and debugging distributed systems

• A bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field is preferred

• Practical coding experience, technical writing in Spanish, or contributions to open-source projects demonstrate suitability

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to “show your work”

• A secure computer and high-speed internet connection, provided by the contractor
