Coder – Outpatient

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately and promptly assigns the correct diagnostic and procedural codes to medical records.

• Examines medical records and charges to determine diagnoses and procedures.

• Assigns ICD-10-CM codes and CPT-4 codes for outpatient cases.

• Abstracts diagnostic and procedural codes into the network system.

• Oversees assigned work queues and physician notes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient coding within a hospital and/or physician practice.

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or an equivalent certification is required.
