Co-Founder & CEO – AI Accounting Agents

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Strategy — Enhance the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), implement a size-tiered pricing model, and refine product positioning.

• Customer Development — Spearhead pilot programs with managing partners, CAS leads, and outsourced-accounting/BPO operators at small to mid-sized CPA firms, converting them into paid engagements, while fostering a referral-driven go-to-market strategy.

• Product — Collaborate with the FutureSight product and engineering teams to launch Version 1 and iterate based on user feedback.

• Capital — Oversee the seed funding initiative, leveraging FutureSight's network and traction.

• Team — Recruit and guide the founding team, and lay the cultural groundwork for the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a founding role at a venture-backed organization.

• Proven track record in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market strategies, including consultative, relationship-oriented sales and customer engagement.

• Proficiency in fundraising, with the capability to craft investor narratives and secure capital.

• Established ability to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent.

• Realistic understanding of the risks and challenges associated with co-founding a venture-backed firm.

• Extensive accounting domain knowledge, with practical experience in managing close processes, tax preparation, workpapers, and client accounting services within CPA firms.
