
CNC Programming & Manufacturing Engineer β SME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, assess, and implement intricate multi-axis CNC programming (3-5 axis) using advanced digital manufacturing techniques.
β’ Offer technical guidance and mentorship to manufacturing engineers, technologists, and technicians.
β’ Facilitate a smooth technology transition from engineering to operational stages.
β’ Identify and execute engineering solutions to minimize cycle times and fabrication costs.
β’ Create innovative work-holding designs to enhance both legacy and new processes.
β’ Technical Leadership: Spearhead the Global Communities of Practice to establish and disseminate Standard Operating Procedures, manufacturing guidelines, and process maturity matrices for various machining applications.
β’ Collaborate with global teams to implement best practices and promote standardization of methods and equipment.
β’ Assist in the skill development and mentoring related to CAD/CAM software and advanced machining techniques.
β’ Possess strong problem-solving abilities and influencing skills to address manufacturing bottlenecks.
β’ Ensure that manufacturing processes align with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
β’ At least 15 years of progressive experience in engineering-level projects involving complex manufacturing challenges, preferably in the aerospace industry.
β’ Proven experience in manufacturing, automation, DFM, optimization, and implementation within a production setting.
β’ Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
β’ Anticipated travel of 50% or more.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or relevant industrial engineering experience (or related field) is preferred.
