• Traveling to client locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls for their organizations (Company-provided vehicle and gas expenses covered)
• Utilizing online technical documentation, manuals, and vendor resources to investigate machine-related issues
• Ensuring the accurate completion and submission of documentation to the office and customer regarding the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations
• Promoting and executing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment while providing after-sales technical support and training
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the machine tool industry and the product lines offered by the company
• Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment is included in the onboarding process, with factory certification expected within the first year.
• Proven experience in mechanical or electrical repair or engineering is preferred
• A background in CNC repair is advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is essential
• Familiarity with software applications, such as Microsoft Office, is beneficial (this role requires the use of a laptop, smartphone, and various software tools)
• Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills are essential
• The CNC Technician must meet the physical demands of the position, regularly lifting 40-50 pounds
• This role requires flexible hours and frequent travel and driving across a regional area
