CNC Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Traveling to client locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls for their organizations.

• Utilizing online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to investigate machine-related issues.

• Ensuring the completion and submission of accurate documentation to both the office and the customer regarding the status of machine problems, repairs, and installations.

• Promoting and executing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment while providing after-sales technical support and training.

• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the machine tool industry and the product lines represented by the company.

• Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment is included in the onboarding process, with the expectation of factory certification within the first year.

• Performing related duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering is preferred.

• Background in CNC repair is advantageous.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is essential.

• Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office is a plus.

• Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are required.

• Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the position, including regularly lifting 40-50 pounds.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel frequently throughout the regional territory.
