CNC Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Traveling to client locations to install, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls for their organizations (Company-provided vehicle and gas expenses covered).

• Utilizing online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to troubleshoot machine-related issues.

• Ensuring that accurate documentation is completed and submitted to both the office and the customer concerning the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations.

• Promoting and conducting preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment, as well as providing after-sales technical support and training.

• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the machine tool industry and the product lines offered by the company.

• Training in CNC repair and Haas equipment is included in the onboarding process, with factory certification expected within the first year.

• Carrying out related duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering is preferred.

• Background in CNC repair is advantageous.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is essential.

• Proficiency in software applications, such as Microsoft Office, is a plus (this position necessitates the use of a laptop, smartphone, and various software tools).

• Exceptional technical, communication, and presentation skills are required.

• The CNC Technician must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including regularly lifting 40-50 pounds.

• This position requires flexible hours and frequent travel and driving within a regional territory.
