CMMC Level 2 Certified Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct official CMMC Level 2 assessments for organizations pursuing certification.

• Assess the effectiveness of security controls, policies, and procedures, identifying areas of non-compliance.

• Develop detailed audit reports that include findings, recommendations, and remediation plans in accordance with CMMC-AB standards.

• Partner with a C3PAO (CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization) to ensure that assessments align with accreditation requirements.

• Assist organizations throughout the formal CMMC assessment process, ensuring they are prepared and compliant with certification standards.

• Keep abreast of updates regarding CMMC requirements, standards, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in information security auditing, particularly with a focus on NIST SP 800-171 compliance.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting formal compliance audits and security assessments.

• Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Assessment Process and its documentation requirements.

• Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-171 standards, security controls, and compliance obligations.

• Profound knowledge of information security principles, risk management, and audit methodologies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing detailed, high-quality assessment reports.

• CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) certification is required.

• Candidates must currently possess, have previously held, or be willing to attain the certification with client sponsorship.

• Preferred Certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Authorization Professional (CAP).
