CMC Scientist/Technical Development Subject Matter Expert – AI Model Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess AI-generated pharmaceutical content for accuracy, thoroughness, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.

• Examine content pertaining to formulation development, process innovation, manufacturing science, technology transfer, scale-up initiatives, and commercialization.

• Evaluate whether AI-generated conclusions are backed by pharmaceutical sciences, engineering principles, development methodologies, and industry best practices.

• Detect unsupported assertions, technical inaccuracies, flawed development strategies, and absent scientific context.

• Cite relevant FDA requirements, ICH guidelines, pharmaceutics principles, and accepted practices in pharmaceutical development.

• Offer expert feedback, clarify findings, and suggest technically sound corrections.

• Implement project-specific evaluation criteria, scoring guidelines, and quality standards.

• Conduct independent evaluations utilizing designated online platforms within project deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Pharmaceutical Development, Technical Development, Formulation Development, Process Development, Manufacturing Sciences, or related CMC functions.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.

• Experience in supporting drug substance and/or drug product development activities.

• Familiarity with formulation, process development, technical operations, or manufacturing sciences.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development lifecycle activities.

• Understanding of FDA regulations and pertinent ICH guidelines, including development-related expectations.

• Proficiency in interpreting scientific, technical, and manufacturing data.

• Capability to critically assess scientific and technical information.

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work autonomously and adhere to detailed review instructions.

• Comfortable operating within a task-based freelance engagement model.
