This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Oversee, extract, and report on cloud expenditures.
• Administer reservations for cloud resources.
• Create cloud expenditure reports and dashboards tailored to the requirements of internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to spearhead cloud spending optimization initiatives, serving as a FinOps advocate.
• Supervise infrastructure monitoring data.
• Evaluate insights from monitoring activities and initiate actions with the relevant teams, ensuring follow-up and addressing any obstacles as needed.
• Monitor service lifecycle management notifications from cloud providers, facilitate internal assessments, mobilize resources, and coordinate execution.
• Establish and uphold access management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans for cloud services.
• Mobilize resources and oversee the testing of the BCR and DR plans.
• Coordinate specific initiatives aimed at enhancing support and provisioning processes.
• Advocate for initiatives to further advance the cloud operations toolkit within the area of responsibility, utilizing the latest technologies.
• Actively represent cloud operations services during ISO27001 and ISAE audits.
• Report and manage identified risks in accordance with ISO 27001 and ISAE controls.
• Safeguard assets, information security, and control structures.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical/STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with various DevOps tools for creating digital pipelines.
• Experience in developing automation scripts and PowerBI reports.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including but not limited to Azure Kubernetes Services, Log Analytics, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Storage accounts, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Entra ID and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Knowledge of Terraform and Terragrunt is a plus.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP and DNS, along with knowledge of all layers of a web services technology stack.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, Python, and Azure Foundry is a plus.
• Understanding of FinOps practices is a plus.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Creative problem-solving mindset with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to deliver quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
• Capacity to collaborate with internal and customer teams to foster improvements and prioritize goals.
• Proficiency in English.
