Cloud/DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Manage, optimize, and automate our hybrid IT and cloud environment (Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365, on-premises systems)

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure resources (VMs, networking, storage, databases, security)

• Collaborate with software development teams to build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for secure, automated, and reproducible deployments

• Set up and manage Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access)

• Contribute to the configuration of Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, or Azure CLI)

• Possess insight into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes to standardize management

• Contribute to the establishment and development of monitoring and security tools (such as Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, Log Analytics, or alternatives)

• Work with security solutions like Splunk, SentinelOne, and other endpoint and threat management tools

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, focusing on root cause analysis and structural improvements

• Document configurations, procedures, and knowledge to ensure quality and transferability

• Actively contribute to a DevOps culture where development and operations share responsibility for stability, security, and delivery speed

⛳️ Requirements

• HBO work and thinking level

• Proficient in both Dutch and English

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security, Databases, Compute)

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes

• Understanding of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), ACR (Azure Container Registry), Azure Functions, and Azure API Management

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and Intune

• Acquainted with security principles and compliance best practices

• Experience with monitoring and analysis tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Splunk is a plus

• Certifications AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700 are a plus or willingness to obtain them

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
