Cloud & Technical FinOps Engineer – AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing guidance to our clients while utilizing platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or hybrid environments.

• Serving as the main point of contact and implementer for technical inquiries and solutions (in relation to Technical FinOps, cloud governance, architecture, Kubernetes, migration strategies, etc.).

• Crafting and developing cloud migration strategies with a focus on FinOps considerations.

• Offering technical consulting for the deployment of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) across various platforms and overseeing their technical implementation.

• Advising on the integration of FinOps principles and strategies.

• Standardizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.

• Assessing system and software engineering tools and methodologies.

• Creating system specifications tailored to our clients' environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with public cloud services (Google Cloud Platform or AWS, Alibaba Cloud or Azure).

• Proficiency in cloud infrastructures and architectures.

• Initial cloud certifications are a plus (e.g., CKAD).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Terraform, IaC, or similar technologies.

• Interest in AI/ML systems in relation to FinOps.

• Basic programming and/or scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Experience with Cloud Identity & Access Management is desirable.

• Understanding of serverless architectures and API management.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and auditing on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS CloudWatch & CloudTrail, Elasticsearch).

• A foundational understanding of FinOps and related principles.

• Proficient in both German and English.
