Cloud Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Managing and maintaining extensive cloud infrastructure and servers within global data centers.

• Collaborating on various Linux server initiatives alongside diverse departments.

• Transitioning clients' on-premise servers to the cloud through replication or data backup strategies.

• Evaluating and resolving server and network-related issues reported by both internal and external users.

• Conducting proactive monitoring of supported cloud instances.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Linux and virtualization technologies.

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and the ability to troubleshoot virtual machine instances.

• Experience with monitoring systems and incident management processes.

• Background in migrating from on-premise solutions to cloud environments.

• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools.

• Technical requirements: Server Systems - Linux, Virtualization - KVM, Xen, or similar; Cloud Computing - experience with non-Azure based cloud platforms; Cloud Migration - experience with Veeam, Acronis, or similar; Monitoring - Prometheus, Grafana; Automation - Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
