Cloud Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Managing and maintaining extensive cloud infrastructure and servers within global data centers.

• Collaborating on various Linux server projects with multiple departments.

• Transitioning clients' on-premise servers to the cloud through replication or data backups.

• Evaluating and resolving server and network-related issues raised by both internal and external users.

• Conducting proactive monitoring of supported cloud instances.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Linux and virtualization technologies.

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and troubleshooting for virtual machine instances.

• Proficiency with monitoring systems and incident management processes.

• Experience in migrating on-premise systems to cloud environments.

• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools.

• Technical requirements:

• Server Systems - Linux

• Virtualization - KVM, Xen, or equivalent

• Cloud Computing - Experience with non-Azure based cloud platforms

• Cloud Migration - Veeam, Acronis, or similar tools

• Monitoring - Prometheus, Grafana

• Automation - Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef

• Desirable skills:

• Cloud Orchestration - Cloudstack, Openstack, Proxmox VE, etc.

• Cloud Computing - Experience with both AWS/Azure/GCP and other cloud services (e.g., Rackspace, IBM Cloud, etc.)

• Block Storage (iSCSI, SAN, NFS)

• Experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and Microsoft SQL

• Experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS or Juniper Junos.
