Cloud Solutions Architect – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate current applications and environments to pinpoint areas for enhancement and modernization.

• Develop scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available solutions.

• Strategize and facilitate application migrations to Azure using rehost, replatform, refactor, and rearchitect approaches.

• Create integrations between APIs, applications, databases, services, and external platforms.

• Assist in technical decision-making across backend, frontend, cloud, and DevOps domains.

• Explore and resolve intricate technical challenges while supporting solution implementation.

• Generate technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

• Offer technical advice to developers and assist with architectural decisions.

• Collaborate with technical teams, clients, and international stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level expert with extensive experience in software architecture and development within corporate settings.

• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, modularization, APIs, resilience, and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly App Service, Functions, Container Apps/AKS, Storage, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Service Bus/Event Grid, API Management, Monitor/Application Insights, and Entra ID.

• Proven experience in application migration and modernization, including analysis of dependencies, risks, and migration strategies.

• In-depth knowledge of REST APIs, synchronous and asynchronous integrations, messaging, events, queues, webhooks, authentication, API versioning, retry mechanisms, timeouts, and idempotency.

• Understanding of backend development, relational and non-relational databases, caching, asynchronous processing, performance optimization, and scalability.

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, and deployment/rollback strategies.

• Comprehensive technical vision with the ability to comprehend dependencies and impacts across various systems.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
