This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to create designs and architectures that are both highly available and scalable.
• Establish and document best practices and strategies for application deployment and infrastructure upkeep.
• Serve as the technical lead on assigned projects, responsible for solution architecture, guiding the project team, monitoring technical execution, tracking progress, and leading project reviews with IT and business stakeholders throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Design and develop applications that connect with commercial and open-source LLM platforms through APIs and SDKs, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Spearhead the design of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions by incorporating enterprise knowledge sources, databases, APIs, and retail systems.
• Assess emerging AI technologies and propose suitable models, frameworks, and cloud services to achieve business goals.
• Comprehend the existing application infrastructure and its functionalities.
• Proficiency with core AWS services, in addition to the specific technologies outlined in this job description.
• Hands-on experience with the .NET framework, SQL Server, Oracle, and design/architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with ECS Fargate, Lambda, AuroraDB, and DynamoDB.
• Experience in integrating applications with LLM APIs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or other similar AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model selection, token optimization, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Solid grasp of security best practices and capability to implement OAuth2.0 authentication for Single Sign-On (SSO) and API authentications.
• Practical experience with TEST APIs, Microservices design patterns, principles, and their implementation.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with both technical staff and end-users to gather application requirements and design solutions.
• Ability to write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Analyze business application requirements and formulate specifications for database creation, data modeling, and normalization.
