Cloud Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary cloud solution strategist during federal capture and proposal initiatives, converting mission requirements and evaluation criteria into competitive, market-aligned architectures and technical narratives.

• Collaborate closely with business development, capture managers, proposal managers, and executive stakeholders to establish differentiators, win themes, solution storylines, and customer-focused messaging for proposals and oral presentations.

• Oversee the creation of technical proposal materials—including architecture diagrams, technical volumes, briefings, compliance matrices, and content for oral presentations.

• Provide guidance to internal teams on cloud strategy, modernization pathways, and related topics.

• Lead technical solution reviews to ensure that proposed architectures are innovative, compliant, and aligned with changing government mandates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in architecting cloud solutions with a strong focus on solution design, technical strategy, and support for pre-sales or proposals.

• Demonstrated expertise in cloud-native architectures and AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, EventBridge, Bedrock, SageMaker, and Amazon Q.

• Strong grasp of DevSecOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform/CloudFormation).

• Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, DoD).

• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
