Cloud Software Developer, Node.js, React.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain cloud-native applications utilizing Node.js, React.js, and associated frameworks.

• Implement infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform or AWS CDK.

• Construct build and deployment pipelines along with overseeing platform operations.

• Conduct Linux-based troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

• Apply secure-by-design methodologies and engage in compliance and hardening activities.

• Collaborate with teams responsible for deploying and managing workloads using AWS services, including but not limited to: Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, VPC, and IAM.

• Work in partnership with UI/UX designers, cloud engineers, architects, and DevOps teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with AWS cloud computing is required.

• At least 7 years of overall IT experience is preferred.

• Expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience in building and maintaining front-end applications with React.js.

• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, including navigation, logs, permissions, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Hands-on experience in designing and deploying solutions in AWS, covering core services and networking.

• Practical experience with Terraform or CDK, including modules, variables, and state management.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and Jenkins.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Capability to articulate architectural trade-offs, troubleshooting methodologies, and real-world problem-solving skills.
