Cloud Service Administrator I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance for a diverse range of systems associated with the OpSus Cloud and Technical Solutions Group division.

• Ensure that customer inquiries and self-service requests are managed, tracked, communicated, and resolved promptly.

• Offer support for incidents to restore services as quickly as possible.

• Proactively monitor the infrastructure and respond to alerts as necessary.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a single interaction channel.

• Reference and utilize technical resolution documentation, including knowledge base articles, concerning systems, infrastructure, and processes.

• Adhere to security protocols, standards, and procedures related to all technologies.

• Collaborate with engineering to resolve any alerts as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year of progressive experience in supporting a mix of Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems.

• Proficiency in VMware vSphere virtualization is essential.

• Strongly preferred is experience in end-user and infrastructure desktop support with either physical or virtual desktop technologies.

• Required is a working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, networking concepts, and computer hardware.

• Experience in performing regular systems patching and updates is necessary.

• Preferred is experience in supporting advanced blade architecture such as Cisco UCS and HP BladeSystem.

• Experience with advanced datacenter-wide virtualization is also preferred.

• Previous experience in Customer Service, Call Center, Help Desk, and/or Service Desk roles is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent amount of experience is preferred for this position.

• Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Storage, A+, Network+, and other Cloud Technologies are considered an advantage for this role.
