Cloud Security Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Formulate the short-term strategy for the area in a manner that is scalable for the organization.

• Align objectives and set targets with various teams.

• Lead action plans related to cloud security.

• Define, assess, and implement processes and solutions for cloud security.

• Specify, manage, and enhance CloudSec products.

• Serve as the Information Security (IS) point of contact for the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of cloud risks.

• Plan and carry out security testing on cloud infrastructure.

• Provision and maintain the cloud environments that support CloudSec solutions.

• Assist in incident response for events related to cloud security.

• Create, guide, document, and review processes, flows, and guidelines for cloud security.

• Coordinate cloud security projects that have an impact on the business.

• Provide technical leadership to the team, fostering development and driving outcomes.

• Establish cloud compliance and security standards for the directorate.

• Manage strategic partnerships while optimizing the overall resilience of the environment.

• Mentor other architects and specialists in a formal capacity.

• Actively engage in team recruitment by participating in technical interviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential:

• Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or another language centered on automation and the integration of security APIs.

• Expertise in Terraform and/or Ansible along with principles of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience in writing policies using Rego (Open Policy Agent).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including practices for cluster hardening and orchestration security.

• Comprehensive knowledge of visibility and compliance tools, particularly CSPM, CWPP, and CNAPP platforms.

• Preferred:

• Knowledge of Go for developing internal security tools.

• Experience with query languages for log analysis (e.g., KQL, SQL, or SPL).

• Practical experience with Prisma Cloud and Cortex Cloud solutions.
