This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee comprehensive release timelines, ensuring that milestones are clearly articulated and attainable.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, QA, support, and operations, to align on the scope and quality objectives of each release. Work closely with team leads to manage the quality standards for releases.

• Monitor release checkpoints, including Definition of Done (DoD) reviews, to ensure the completeness of features and infrastructure.

• Organize go/no-go meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are in agreement regarding readiness and associated risks.

• Deliver clear and timely status updates to stakeholders, including executives, utilizing dashboards, reports, and briefings.

• Serve as an AI enthusiast and builder: design, develop, and implement AI agents to automate release activities (such as Branch-Diffs status reporting, checklist validation, ticket triage, and readiness checks) to enhance operational efficiency and release speed.

• Automate Release Readiness initiatives from end to end, establishing best practices and standardizing release processes and tools throughout the organization.

• Identify manual and repetitive release workflows, prioritizing them for automation through AI or scripting solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to integrate AI agents into current CI/CD and release tools.

• Ensure the completion of necessary documentation, training materials, and internal handoffs prior to release.

• Create and manage deployment tickets for production releases and hotfixes, coordinating required approvals and processes.

• Ensure compliance with established security and compliance requirements during all release activities, and assist with ongoing compliance audits.

• Lead customer defect triage meetings, partnering with support and engineering teams to prioritize and track the resolution of issues.

• Monitor post-release metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing release processes and product quality.

• Collaborate closely with customer success and support teams to gauge customer sentiment. Analyze customer surveys for quality insights.

• Confirm that compliance artifacts (SOC, ISO, etc.) are accurate and support audits as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in release management, ideally in cloud-based software development settings.

• AI enthusiast with practical experience in building and deploying AI agents (such as utilizing LLM APIs, low-code agent platforms, or scripting/automation frameworks) to enhance release activities and improve operational efficiency and speed.

• Proven experience managing intricate release processes in SaaS, PaaS, or cloud-native environments.

• Strong comprehension of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple releases and deadlines concurrently.
