Cloud Program Manager – Google Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate cloud transformation programs that consist of numerous interrelated projects and workstreams.

• Establish and uphold the governance framework for extensive cloud initiatives.

• Plan, oversee, and regulate program scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Collaborate with various technical teams, business units, vendors, and client stakeholders.

• Implement Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as required by the project.

• Create executive reporting models, performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting routines.

• Recognize program risks early and formulate mitigation and contingency strategies.

• Administer financial controls, budgets, forecasts, and expenditures related to the program.

• Direct change management efforts linked to cloud transformation projects.

• Lead strategic meetings, steering committees, workshops, and executive presentations.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between technical teams, business units, and executive sponsors.

• Assist in conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making across various workstreams.

• Align program deliverables with the client's strategic and business goals.

• Aid in the development and assessment of business cases, ROI, TCO, and financial advantages associated with cloud initiatives.

• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and technical specialists to comprehend risks, dependencies, and delivery implications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Program Management and Project Management.

• Proven track record in leading large-scale programs consisting of multiple simultaneous projects.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Practical experience in Scrum environments, ideally as a Scrum Master or Program Manager working with agile teams.

• Experience in managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Background in establishing governance models for complex programs.

• Strong understanding of risk management, issue management, dependency management, and change management.

• Experience in financial and budget management for programs or large-scale projects.

• Experience in preparing executive reports, KPIs, dashboards, and program status updates.

• Demonstrated capacity to foresee risks and execute mitigation strategies before they affect cost, schedule, scope, or quality.

• Significant experience managing both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficient in communicating with technical teams, business leaders, directors, vice presidents, executive sponsors, and C-level stakeholders.

• Experience in facilitating strategic meetings and discussions at the executive level.

• Strong skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and managing expectations.

• Proficient or fluent in English.

• Proficient or fluent in Spanish.
