Cloud Platform Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide infrastructure solutions as a member of a skilled cross-disciplinary team.

• Leverage practical experience to influence the design, development, and deployment of Satalia’s Logistics and Delivery offerings.

• Collaborate with solution architects to determine the most effective technologies and processes for clients.

• Serve as a technical authority to guide and facilitate discussions on best practices and risk management.

• Ensure that security measures are implemented, tested, and continuously maintained.

• Incorporate observability into the infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in building infrastructure and deploying code on one of the major cloud platforms (preferably GCP, Bitbucket Pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, K6).

• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (such as Grafana or similar).

• Ability to communicate and articulate technical concepts at suitable levels for both your team and clients.

• Knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of: Infrastructure and Configuration as Code, Safe Deployment strategies and CI/CD, Cloud-based and Cloud-native system design, Observability, Developer Experience, DevOps and SRE, InfoSec and SIEM.
