Cloud Platform Engineer – Azure, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructures on Azure using Terraform modules for both IaaS and PaaS resources.

• Engage in new projects alongside enhancements and provide operational support for production environments.

• Administer, monitor, and support Azure environments spanning multiple subscriptions.

• Resolve incidents related to IaaS and PaaS to ensure adherence to SLA requirements.

• Create and manage technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, playbooks, runbooks, and best practices.

• Offer technical guidance and recommendations on application architecture and design to internal teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee the availability, performance, and security of the environments.

• Assist with automation initiatives, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with essential Azure services, including Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Machines/Scale Sets, Storage (Blob and Files), and Networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, DNS, and Private Link).

• At least 3 years of experience managing Linux and/or Windows Server environments.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• At least 2 years of experience working with Terraform.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and supporting cloud environments.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take proactive initiatives.

• Strong organizational skills complemented by effective communication and teamwork capabilities.

• Exceptional analytical skills alongside a strong problem-solving aptitude.

• Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with BICEP and/or ARM Templates.

• Experience with CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions (YAML).

• Knowledge of configuration management tools, ideally Ansible.

• Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, and/or Elasticsearch.

• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Shell Script, or PowerShell.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
