This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with our solution architects to determine the most suitable technologies and processes for our clients.
• Serve as a technical authority to initiate and guide discussions regarding best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that security considerations are effectively implemented, tested, and maintained.
• Incorporate Observability into our processes.
• Experience in building infrastructure and deploying code in major Cloud environments (preferably GCP, Bitbucket Pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, K6).
• Proficient in implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (such as Grafana or similar).
• Ability to communicate and clarify technical concepts at suitable levels for both your team and clients.
• Strong understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of: Infrastructure and Configuration as Code, Safe Deployment strategies, CI/CD, Cloud-based and Cloud-native system design, Observability, Developer Experience, DevOps and SRE, InfoSec, and SIEM.
• Experience in the Logistics industry is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of BitBucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions Workflows, or Azure DevOps Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and various Cloud implementations.
• Experience in deploying and managing observability stacks in production settings, including integration with Kubernetes workloads and cloud-native services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, including familiarity with Terragrunt and Terratest.
• Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments.
• Skilled in managing Automation Tooling like Jenkins, CircleCI, and GitLab CI.
• Proficient with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Lighthouse.
• Strong scripting capabilities in Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, or Perl.
