Cloud Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Azure-based infrastructure utilizing Terraform modules (IaaS and PaaS resources) for new initiatives or necessary updates within production environments.

• Diagnose IaaS and PaaS issues reported through ServiceNow incident tickets and adhere to ticket closure SLAs.

• Create and update environment diagrams, playbooks, runbooks, and documentation of best practices.

• Engage with internal business partners, offering insights on application design.

• Operate, monitor, and manage multiple Azure subscriptions along with their associated global applications.

• Construct, sustain, and support effective, scalable, and secure data pipelines.

• Collaborate across engineering and operations, involving both project tasks and incident tickets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with essential Azure services: Resource Manager, Virtual Machines/Scale Sets, Storage (Blob/Files), Networking (VNets, NSGs, Load Balancer, App Gateway, DNS, Private Link).

• More than 3 years of experience in administering Windows or Linux environments, demonstrating strong troubleshooting abilities.

• Over 3 years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service.

• More than 2 years of experience with Terraform.

• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative without supervision, employing strong interpersonal and organizational skills—this includes meeting deadlines, collaborating as part of a team, adhering to documented policies and procedures, and consistently delivering outstanding customer service.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with Bicep and/or ARM templates is a plus.

• Experience with CI/CD and automation tools: Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions (YAML) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible, is preferred.

• Familiarity with the configuration and management of Kafka/MongoDB/Elasticsearch is beneficial.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or PowerShell is desirable.
