This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver cloud operations services and support primarily for Microsoft Azure and potentially some Amazon AWS environments.
• Provide system administration for Linux and Windows Server virtual machines.
• Address incidents and fulfill service requests.
• Investigate and permanently resolve issues.
• Engage in proactive problem management.
• Design, document, test, and implement changes.
• Assist in compliance and vulnerability management through patching, endpoint protection, and maintenance of essential software installed on virtual machines.
• Aid in enhancing monitoring and automation.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule - specific day to be confirmed.
• Opportunity for a second shift to provide additional coverage required by the PST program.
• Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience, or in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a multi-cloud environment, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, along with their associated networking, architecture, and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Proficient in using monitoring tools such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, AWS Cloudwatch, ServiceNow, Statseeker, Netscout, and others.
• Experience managing production infrastructure and applications following ITIL v3 (2011) or v4 best practices.
• Strong technical communication skills, including the ability to create professional user-facing documentation for various audiences.
• Microsoft Azure/AWS certifications are preferred.
• Experience with SQL Server, Log Analytics, and Qlik.
