This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provides functional leadership and oversight to the SCM functional team members, ensuring the successful implementation of a diverse range of Oracle SCM Cloud applications across various industries for complex, mid to large-size projects, often managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Possesses extensive experience in leading Oracle Cloud Application requirements workshops and facilitating solutions architecture and design discussions.
• Leverages in-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Applications and industry best practices to consult with clients, delivering cost-effective solutions tailored to their business scenarios.
• Guides the implementation team in crafting the overall Enterprise Cloud solution, encompassing both technical and functional aspects.
• Holds substantial experience in extending Oracle Cloud Applications through PaaS and other extension methodologies and technologies, which includes designing solutions, drafting specifications for custom applications, and integrating them with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Evaluates current systems and data to determine new requirements, identifying the necessity for system enhancements or modifications when applicable.
• Leads, mentors, trains, and supports the Oracle Cloud applications implementation team on-site.
• Provides thought leadership and applies innovative approaches to tackle product implementation and integration challenges.
• Develops and implements long-term strategies for clients.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating with clients, team members, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all parties are updated on project progress, challenges, and changes.
• Actively involves project stakeholders in the estimation process, considering the implications of strategic business changes.
• Aids business partners in effectively demonstrating solution value to key stakeholders.
• Collaborates with third-party vendors and suppliers to procure necessary hardware, software, or services, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure optimal terms for the client.
• Delivers compelling business cases, clearly quantifying the benefits of proposed solutions.
• Continuously assesses the performance of implemented solutions to identify opportunities for improvement or optimization, providing recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications as necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
• MBA, relevant master's degree, or PhD.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, including over 3 years of experience in leading SCM solution design for Oracle cloud implementations.
• Expert-level experience as an Oracle Cloud Architect, implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud implementation projects and upgrades.
• Familiarity with Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS), particularly with Integration Cloud Service and Database Cloud Service.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with Web Services, including the use of Oracle Cloud delivered Web Services (SOAP & REST).
• Proven consulting expertise and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead fit-gap analyses, design business processes, manage conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configurations, and oversee testing of procurement ERP solutions.
• Experience in navigating the complexities of working with cross-border and diverse teams and projects.
• Expert-level knowledge and experience with the following Oracle Cloud Application modules:
• Oracle Manufacturing Cloud
• Oracle Cloud Cost Management
• Oracle Product Management/PIM/PDH (especially regarding Item Structures/BOMs)
• Oracle Inventory Cloud
• Operational experience and knowledge with one or more of the following Oracle Cloud Application modules:
• Oracle Maintenance Cloud
• Oracle Procurement
• Oracle Demand/Supply Planning
• Oracle Order Management Cloud
• Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead fit-gap analyses, design business processes, manage conference room pilots, perform functional configurations, and oversee testing of Oracle SCM Cloud solutions.
• Proven experience in guiding clients through business process improvements.
