Digital Consulting Architect, CPQ, Spanish-Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical authority for CPQ and Quote-to-Cash initiatives, representing Zaelab in client-facing architectural discussions, solution evaluations, and technical decision-making.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in Quote-to-Cash processes, encompassing product modeling, pricing strategies, discounting, approvals, contracts, and downstream order fulfillment. Lead the architecture and functional design of custom product configurators, including technologies such as Logik.ai (ServiceNow). Convert intricate revenue models into scalable CPQ architectures that adhere to platform best practices.

• Design scalable and secure architectures that seamlessly integrate with commerce platforms, ERP systems, CDPs, middleware, and other enterprise systems. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop prototypes and proofs of concept to validate requirements and solution methodologies.

• Conduct business and technical discovery to assess current revenue systems and define future CPQ roadmaps. Facilitate business process mapping sessions and create functional and architectural documentation. Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing business processes through CPQ and commerce capabilities.

• Maintain an active role in solution delivery, contributing to configuration, development, and technical problem-solving alongside the team. Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate and efficient implementation of designs. Address complex functional and technical issues, identifying root causes and driving resolutions.

• Resolve complex technical issues to ensure consistent delivery momentum and high-quality results.

• Mentor consultants, developers, and analysts on CPQ architectural patterns, platform capabilities, and best practices for delivery. Guide teams in balancing functional requirements with technical feasibility and long-term maintainability. Establish quality standards for CPQ design, documentation, and execution of delivery.

• Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Sales teams to scope projects, propose architectural strategies, and communicate solution value to B2B clients. Build trusted relationships with client sponsors and stakeholders, guiding strategic decision-making. Effectively articulate CPQ solution value to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Contribute to Zaelab accelerators, templates, and repeatable CPQ implementation methodologies. Stay updated on CPQ, commerce, and platform trends, sharing insights both internally and externally. Engage in internal enablement, client workshops, and industry/community forums.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise consulting or solution architecture, including complex platform implementations and integrations.

• Professional fluency in both **Spanish and English**.

• A minimum of 3 years devoted specifically to CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, B2B Commerce, or complex product configurations.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering custom CPQ or product configurator solutions.

• Proficiency in integrating CPQ with CRM, ERP, commerce platforms, and middleware.

• Practical experience with modern web and integration technologies (JavaScript, REST/SOAP, APIs).

• Experience in digital commerce, service modernization, or customer experience transformation is highly advantageous. A background in Manufacturing and B2B is a plus.

• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable architectural strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in designing or implementing AI-driven workflows or utilizing AI insights to enhance service operations.

• Required Certifications (or to be obtained within specified timelines):

• Certified System Administrator (within 60 days)

• Certified Application Developer (within 90 days)

• Certified Implementation Specialist – Sales & Order Management (SOM)

• Certified Implementation Specialist – Customer Service Management (CSM)

• Certified Implementation Specialist – Field Service Management (FSM)

• ServiceNow CPQ / Product Configuration (Logik.ai) Certification (or equivalent CPQ certification)

• Certified Technical Architect (within first year)
