Cloud Engineer – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Implement, oversee, and track Microsoft Azure environments to ensure their availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Manage cloud resources such as Virtual Machines, Web Apps, AKS, Container Apps, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, and related services.

• Define and uphold governance and compliance policies, access control (IAM), tagging, and FinOps best practices.

• Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using Terraform and ARM Templates.

• Administer and enhance Kubernetes (AKS) environments, including deployments, Ingress Controllers, horizontal pod autoscaling (HPA), and workload management.

• Implement and sustain CI/CD pipelines in accordance with DevOps methodologies.

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and support for cloud infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Monitor environments with Azure Monitor and related tools, generating performance and availability metrics.

• Operate in hybrid environments, integrating operations across both Linux and Windows platforms.

• Manage containerized environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure.

• AZ-900 and AZ-104 certifications, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

• Advanced knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Backup, Load Balancers, and Storage Services.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and ARM Templates.

• Proven experience administering Kubernetes in production settings.

• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Experience with automation, observability, and DevOps practices.
