This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support and maintenance for cloud infrastructure, applications, and platform services utilizing AWS and Azure.
• Oversee platform health, performance, and reliability while addressing infrastructure and deployment challenges.
• Design, construct, and sustain scalable Terraform infrastructure by adhering to Infrastructure as Code best practices.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and deployment patterns suitable for multi-environment and multi-account architectures.
• Develop, support, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate deployments, resolve release issues, and enhance operational processes.
• Work alongside senior engineers on cloud architecture, scalability, resiliency, and modernization projects.
• Uphold cloud security standards, governance, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Enhance reliability and operational efficiency through automation, monitoring, observability, and cost optimization.
• Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge base entries.
• Utilize issue and project tracking systems to document tasks and facilitate collaboration.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems, infrastructure, or network administration.
• At least 2 years of experience managing infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Familiarity with networking, DNS, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery principles.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies in a version-controlled environment, such as Git.
• Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
