Cloud Engineer – Compute Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee projects and activities for the implementation, deployment, security management, availability, and resilience (SRE) of public cloud technologies, products, and services.

• Manage the implementation, deployment, and oversight of compute resources in public cloud settings, including documentation, timelines, schedules, and quality assurance.

• Strategize the implementation and management of projects and activities pertinent to the area of expertise.

• Execute corporate systems and compute components in public cloud settings in alignment with organizational strategies, ensuring security, availability, and redundancy.

• Aid in the formulation of public cloud service governance models, resource utilization policies, and cost management practices.

• Lead technical teams in the implementation and integration of customer infrastructures in line with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

• Organize and coordinate the configuration of protocols, virtual and on-premises network elements, identity management, access control, and integrations.

• Manage activities aimed at identifying, analyzing, controlling, and mitigating security risks that impact compute resources in both public cloud and on-premises environments.

• Support the agile management of budgets and financial planning for the delivery of services, systems, and compute resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a bachelor’s degree in any field coupled with a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology comprising at least 360 hours, from an institution recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC).

• ITIL Foundation Certified v4 or higher, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Agile Scrum Foundation, or Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC).

• Two or more certifications in AWS and/or Azure technologies, products, or services.

• A minimum of two years of experience in project management within public cloud IT infrastructure environments is preferred.

• Professional experience in coordinating, implementing, and/or managing projects and activities involving AWS or Azure public cloud technologies, products, and services.

• Technical experience leading projects and activities in accordance with Agile principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices for integration and security in the development and deployment of systems and compute infrastructure in public cloud and/or on-premises environments.

• Proven experience in coordinating, implementing, and/or administering infrastructure and security projects involving virtual network components in AWS or Azure public cloud environments, from the initial conception and planning to the final stages of implementation, operationalization, and results analysis.
