Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Actively participate as a team member in the development and ownership of a cloud-based platform, its services, and DevOps pipelines for AI model deployment, alongside development pipelines and the provisioning of public Cloud Native platform infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to deploy cloud resources via pipelines and automate application installations.

• Continuously refine deployment methods and processes to efficiently deliver products across all environments.

• Responsible for constructing Docker containerization pipelines for Nvidia Nemo/NIM models and services.

• Engage in containerization and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Proficient in setting up end-to-end CI/CD using AWS/Azure DevOps, including components such as web apps, function apps, logic apps, and API Management (APIM).

• Develop feedback loops to transfer data from the client end to the optimization hub in the WNS environment.

• Integrate the platform with various tools including Junit, Jmeter, Jira, Jenkins, etc.

• Involved in creating and replicating sandbox cloud VMs for multiple users to collaborate on developing AI/Agentic AI applications.

• Participate in scaling product deployment processes including authentication, authorization, session management, REST APIs, and code building to accommodate applications used by 10,000+ users.

• Experience with AI model versioning, as well as code versioning through SVN and Git repository configuration and management.

• Collaborate with senior members of the AI Software Engineering team, the Product Manager, and the Product team to enhance processes for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the platform.

• Implement automation, monitoring, logging, alerting, and deployment solutions to enhance the AI model deployment experience and developer productivity.

• Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to internal security and compliance standards and controls.

• Additionally, oversee container and code security during product/solution deployment in client environments.

• Serve as a Cloud Native advocate to challenge the status quo and ensure the full capabilities of the Cloud Platform are utilized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud.

• Familiarity with tool chaining (GitHub, Jira), building CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
