This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and sustain software infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises settings, aligning with customer classification needs (IL2–IL6).
• Act as the engineering liaison for application delivery, overseeing performance monitoring, issue escalation, and resolution.
• Ensure that all infrastructure solutions adhere to government and industry security regulations; maintain a solid understanding of relevant frameworks (NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP).
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to document security controls, assist with IATT and ATO processes, and provide audit metrics.
• Set up and manage cloud accounts and organizational structures (projects, IAM, networking) within IL4/IL5/IL6 environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop, deploy, and oversee containerized workloads, including AI/ML application components, utilizing tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Assist in configuring data pipelines and integrating with services like BigQuery, Pub/Sub, or Dataflow as applicable to the deployment environment.
• Implement and uphold High Availability and Disaster Recovery configurations in line with government and industry standards.
• Contribute to the setup and maintenance of DevSecOps pipelines within government cloud and on-premises frameworks.
• Independently manage competing customer priorities, escalating risks, constraints, and blockers to relevant stakeholders.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience in supporting hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments utilizing tools such as GitLab.
• Proven experience in deploying and managing containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
• Proficient in Linux administration and command-line tools.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Previous experience delivering technology solutions within a U.S. government environment.
